WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM
The Westside Clinic is now offering a curated weight loss program which utilizes the GLP1 medication, Semaglutide. If you are interested in enrolling in this program please read the following prior to scheduling your appointment!
Because our focus is your health and safety above all, we have a strict screening process. Prior to starting Semaglutide we require the following:
Clinical evaluation by one of our practitioners
Lab work
Biometric screening
No medical conditions or history that would make Semaglutide unsafe for you
Suggested 3 month commitment
How does the program work?
If you feel that you are a candidate for Semaglutide, we will set up an appointment for an initial consultation with a practitioner where we will perform biometric screening, obtain your medical history and, if there are no disqualifying factors (see “Disqualifying Factors” below), we will provide you with a lab order.
Once your lab results are available, we ask that you provide them to us 48 hours prior to your second appointment. Provided your labs are acceptable, we will present you with a curated treatment plan, including diet and exercise guidance.
Your provider will then administer your first Semaglutide injection and demonstrate how you can do it at home for subsequent weekly injections. (Don’t worry- they’re easy!).
We will then set up a 4 week in-person check-in. After that, you will have in-person (or virtual) check-ins every 4-8 weeks to obtain refills and repeat biometric screenings as needed.
We will also administer a monthly vitamin B-12 injection at no additional cost.
